Buttocks Lifting procedure aims at lifting and volumizing the buttocks. Skin tone loss and sagging of the buttocks, is one of the most common problems and can be due to age, genetic predisposition, sudden weight loss or a previous, unsuccessful, overdone liposuction in the area. Patients with moderate skin laxity can easily be treated with this bloodless lifting technique, without surgery.
This procedure is also appropriate, for women with small buttocks, who desire to improve their natural curves, thus enhancing their femininity.
The bloodless buttock lifting improves the appearance of the gluteal area and is performed with a combination of many different approaches, which are unique, depending on each case, in order to provide the ideal result for each patient. We use the modern method of minimally invasive liposuction, for harvesting fat atraumatically, which is rich in mesenchymal cells, thus ensuring to a great extent, the quality and the longer duration of our results. By injecting fat into the buttocks, we increase their size and we lift them up, without scars and with very natural results. The whole procedure is performed under local anaesthesia, as there is no need for general anaesthesia and therefore the patient is not hospitalized. The surgical duration varies, depending on the case, but usually takes from 1.5 – 2 hours. A great advantage of this procedure is that the patient is active again, from the very next day.
The results are absolutely natural, with no scaring, without a foreign body reaction to silicone and most importantly are permanent. The gluteal contour is significantly improved and the body is graced, with more harmonious proportions.
The Brazilian Butt Lift entails harvesting autologous fat, from our own body and begins with a bloodless liposuction, in areas with excess fat (belly, thighs).
The fat is harvested and kept in sterile syringes and then, undergoes centrifugation and special processing. It’s grafted (Lipofilling), through very thin, atraumatic microcannulas, in order to lift certain areas and sculpt others, for achieving buttocks augmentation and lifting, simultaneously.
After the procedure, a special elastic, compression garment is applied, which should be worn, for the first three weeks. The patient can return to her daily routine, on the very next day.
- The main advantage is, that the harvested fat can be grafted to any part of the buttocks, something that is impossible with silicone implants
- The possibility of complications is very low, as the fat is autologous, from the patient’s own body and the there is no chance, of rejection or allergic reactions
- It can be done, immediately after a liposuction, on the same day
- There are no visible incisions or scars after the procedure, but tiny openings for the insertion of cannulas, which will heal the following days, without a trace
- This is a minimally invasive method, with minimal discomfort post – operatively
- The patients return to their daily activities, on the very next day
In those cases, where there is not enough fat to be harvested from the patient, we can use a specific gel of stabilized hyaluronic acid, which adds volume without surgery and is specifically designed for injection in the gluteal area. It offers immediate and long-lasting results, as it is a slowly biodegradable hyaluronic acid, injected in the area to provide augmentation and body contouring.
